We got to meet a lot of friendly and unfriendly fellow students. We struggled culturally, especially during the Team Trivia because many of the things that we had been asked had to do with U.S. sports teams, slogans for the products they sell, and music. Despite such things, we managed to have fun and enjoy our time by adding in a spice of Kazakhstan. During the Swap Shop, we got to meet friendly yearbook students who were willing to share their opinions with us which made us feel comfortable and welcome, because we understood the struggles we have to go through, being part of yearbook staff.
Tired and close to falling asleep during the sessions, we made it through the whole day drinking coffee and consuming large amounts of sugar to keep us awake, since taking a nap only made things worse.
